Animal Print Knit Top

After making this top, I saw a top like it for $6. So I thought, "Oo, I could have bought it at the same price I made it". Well, at least it was a good learning experience. :) I replicated a top I already had.

Here's the top I replicated with some changes.

Detachable sleeves, because I love all sleeve lengths (even through summer!)
To be continued... :)

TV tray makeover

This TV tray had dark scratches on it.

no sanding.
I smoothed black acrylic paint over it, leaving a little of the brown showing in some places, so that it would have a few tones in it.

After it dried, I sprayed it with clear glossy paint.

That's it!

Just for fun!

This is how my banner came to be. I drew the faces separate from the pin cushion. It helped me focus on the faces better. I transferred it to the computer and finished it there.

What does "Sew right sides together" in sewing mean?

Sewing "right sides together" means putting the sides you want visible (the sides that look good) facing each other, just for the sewing part, so you can turn them inside out later.

Pretend the sides that look good are kissing.
